Eyelet and White

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a great Mother’s Day! Curt, Ava, and I had a very low key and relaxing Sunday and it was simply perfect. Curt even let me squeeze in a morning nap and if that doesn’t say “thank you” on Mother’s Day, I don’t know what does. I’m so blessed to have a beautiful daughter to call my own and hopefully someday down the road, this little family of ours will grow. Until then, Ava will continue to shine bright in our lives and enjoy the spotlight. She’s become quite good at it, actually! Now, on to plan Father’s Day! I’m fairly certain as long as it involves golf, I will be able to make Curt one happy dad!

In addition to it being a great weekend for family time, it was also very h-o-t, HOT. Lordy, it’s going to be a long summer. Where did spring go?! I have some friends that are a tad jealous of my summer wardrobe and to that I say, don’t be. Pretty soon it’s going to be too hot even for a bathing suit so you just enjoy your mild spring right now and know that it will be toasty in your neck of the woods soon enough. I promise.

If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram, you’ll know I did a post on the sale this past week Piperlime! There was tons of items ready to wear for spring and summer that were up to 30% off. I grabbed a few things while the price was right and this sweet blouse was one of them. I’m in love with all things eyelet. And scalloped. And…well, everything about this top. I grabbed the white one too because I loved it so much! A tank top is needed underneath it but I think the white peeking through the eyelet is really pretty. I’m loving these white jeans more than anything and I just recently scooped up a new pair that you will see later on in the week. (I wanted to share the link now because they’re on sale!) If you still have your white jeans in hiding I give you full permission to break them out. Be a rebel!
