My husband and his AF career literally take us to the hottest places in the US and I will be so thankful once we settle down some day! Until then, we just enjoy the ride! We did live in England for 4 years and aside from the awesome travel experiences, I am one of the random few that loved the cold and dreary weather! It’s nice to see another mil wife, too! Reply Beth December 28th, 2013 I found your blog through Pinterest and I love your style! I am 30 years old, married, have two kids, and I am finishing my degree in Elementary Education this coming semester. I will be student-teaching in a kindergarten classroom! Any advice as to how to start building a teacher wardrobe? Reply Maureen December 29th, 2013 Hi Beth!!! Thanks for coming over from Pinterest!!!!! How funny…we have so many similarities!!! You’re going to love teaching Kindergarten! I adore those little faces! As for building your teaching wardrobe, I live in black pants from Express in long sleeve tees from the Gap. I usually dress it up with fun necklaces but never go too crazy. It’s not that I’m trying to be “boring” but with Kinder, you spent a lot of time on floor or elbow deep in paint, and I don’t want to ruin my really nice things! I do tend to wear a lot of cardigans with fun printed tanks underneath too! I should get together a quick post in the future for how I built my “work wardrobe”! Thanks again for coming by!!! I hope you visit again soon!!!! Reply Carolyn January 7th, 2014 Enjoyed finding your blog in December. Reply Maureen January 15th, 2014 Hi Carolyn! I’m so glad you’re here!!! Thank you for taking the time to comment!!!! Reply Emilie February 4th, 2014 Hi! I just found your blog as I was trying to get ideas to do a big wardrobe refresh. I just love it! You have fantastic taste. I particularly share your penchant for designer bags. You’ll have to give me your secret for getting them by your husband!! I had pinned about a dozen of your outfits before I read your bio, and I love your story. I too am a displaced PA girl. Penn State grad (husband went to Pitt). I’m in San Diego now though and don’t feel tempted to return to that PA weather at all yet. Especially after this winter! Anyway, love your blog. Thanks for all the great outfit ideas!! Reply Katie March 5th, 2014 Hi Maureen! I happened to stumble across your Instagram account and just love your style and after reading about your story and family, I am hooked! I too am a teacher who loves family, the simple life, and fashion. I just saw a post with the JCrew madras shirt and mini and I had to get the whole outfit! Keep doing what you are doing! Reply Crista March 29th, 2014 I am a fellow WCU education grad! Thank you so much the wonderful description of Pennsylvania and all it’s beauty. I was born in the southwest and long for the desert air but marriage, family and wonderful career opportunities have kept me in Lancaster County, PA. Again, thank you for the lovely description of PA…it is much needed after this winter. Oh and your clothes are wonderful! Reply Megan March 31st, 2014 I am so excited to have found your blog through Pinterest! I am also a NEPA girl, Milford PA to be exact! I love your style!!! Reply Bree May 19th, 2014 Maureen — just stumbled upon your blog today and found myself pinning lots of your style posts — their fab! Finally got around to wondering who this blogger is… such a sweet surprise to find it’s a fellow military spouse! My husband is a pilot and I’m a teacher as well. We’re PCS-ing from the west coast (where we’ve spent eight of our 12 married years) to the Pentagon this summer, and I’m daydreaming about romantic B&B weekends all along the NE coast. Looking forward to exploring your part of the country! Reply Gina July 6th, 2014 I’m lovin’ your blog. I’m from the East too (Upstate NY) and my hubby is AF. My parents live in Vegas and it’s my favoritist place in the world. The gym at Nellis is seriously amaze-balls, you are a lucky girl! Inside the winter, this rugged and gorgeous location capabilities great skiing and tobogganing journeys, while spring delivers using it the initial bloom of colourful bouquets. Reply nike structure September 26th, 2014 For an affordable yet cool and modish pair for prescription oakley sunglasses, take a look at Oakley Hijinx Sport Wrap Sunglasses. Don’t be fooled by its name ‘ this is actually great pair to be used as everyday shades. Yet another invention with the athletes in mind, this Oakley pair has a hydrophobic lens coating which repels water, dust, and skin oils off the lenses. nike structure http://www.snoway.com/serviceUpdates/nike-structure/ Reply Rachel October 12th, 2014 Hello Maureen!
