A Striped Tunic + This and That

Today’s outfit post went a little something like this, “Hey Mom, does this top make me look pregnant?!” …and her reply was simple, “A little bit.”

For the record, I’m not…just wanted to clear that little question up from the start.  #haha #kindof

I love a swingy tunic for a multitude of reasons but I think the most obvious would be the fact that it’s just that, swingy.  I love the length with leggings, I love the freedom you feel around the waistline, and I really love options for layering.  I went with a simple infinity scarf but a top like this would look cute with a fitted leather jacket, a fur vest, or even dress it up with some leather skinnies and a stand-out statement necklace.

Clearly my boots are going to be one of my favorites this year as I already can’t put them to the side.  And it probably goes without mentioning but pairing black and a rich brown are also pretty high on my list.

It’s finally starting to cool OFF here lately and I, of course, am loving every minute.
