A Black Blazer

This week is turning into a well rounded collection of a few of my all time favorite pieces in my closet. I think I was just so excited about picking up these striped tees that I did whatever I could to wear them this week in as many ways as possible and today, my classic black blazer is making a long overdue appearance.

Black Blazers are just one of those things that we’re kind of always glad we have, even if they don’t get used too much. Well, at least not in my every day life. I tend to bounce somewhere between casual and Lulu, if you know what I mean. But, sometimes it’s nice to stop and polish off those jeans and tee with something other than a vest or a even a cardigan. If I ever remind myself to do it, I might even take this one into the tailer and see if they can nip and tuck it here and there to give it the ultimate custom fit. While I tossed my jacket over a striped tee today, I remember making a very similar outfit last year with just a basic white tee underneath and I love both options equally.

You know – classic, preppy, timeless…all the good things.

I added my new favorite jeans and my faithful cognac booties and tote to pull it all together. So simple to pull a quick and easy outfit together when you have the basics in your closet ready to go.
