Chambray Romper

If you read this post from last week, you would know I already had my eye on this really cute romper. This should actually be called “Chambray Romper: Part 1” because I picked up the other one I posted there too!!! I can’t wait to show you how I styled the AG one next week! But first, there were a couple things about it that really caught my eye about this one and decided it was worth a try. First, it’s a really pretty light washed blue, it has a pretty lace detail at on the back and straps, and most importantly, it has the length I’m looking for in a romper. Up until this point, I had kind of written them off as something I wouldn’t be able to feel comfortable in mostly because most of them appear so short in length. These days, I’m sitting comfortably somewhere between an XS and a S. For something like this, I sized up to the S only because I feel like having a smaller fit would have made the waist move up and have the legs be too tight. I really like the way this romper hangs and the waist has a tie that can be adjusted so if you want it longer or shorter, you can tightened the waist where you want it to sit.

I love a cute dress but the romper is coming in a close second. It’s a no fuss way to look pulled together but still be really comfortable. I’ve seen some cute ones that can be dressed up and dressed down depending on what you’re doing that day…or night! I’m love mixing and matching all my different blue pieces this year so while I could have really mixed it up with some fun shoes, I thought these blue espadrilles worked out great. Simple, easy, cute!
