When it comes to buying new clothes or getting dressed each day, I generally keep one thing in mind: I rarely buy anything that has an expiration date on it. In other words, I’m not the trendiest girl on the block… Now, don’t get me wrong as I do like to play with color and step out of my comfort zone a little bit, but most of the time everything I’m wearing matches and fits the occasion. Oh, how I love a dress code! Casual? Dressy casual? Formal? Let a girl know! It reminds me of the time I showed up to substitute for a gym class and was wearing dress pants and heels. Clearly I wasn’t given the details on what my day would entail. Basically, the more I know, the better off I feel.
I’ve recently changed up my closet a little bit and instead of saying I did it because things may have been a tad snug this year, we’ll just say I was ready to donate some old things and replace them with some new. That sounds so much better than admitting I’m one year older and a little farther away from the figure I so easily had in my 20’s, yes? Yes.
When it comes to my wardrobe, I can confidently say I can be a magnet to neutral tones because they generally work so well with things I already have in my closet. I have a gravitational pull towards the color grey and it’s a force larger than myself. I just can’t seem to say no!
Are there any colors that you always seem to wear?
