Lightweight Scarf

A scarf in the summertime (in Las Vegas, no less…) sounds like madness but given the right material, I think scarves are in season all year long. A girlfriend once told me that even though it’s hotter than heck outside, the second you go inside the air conditioning freezes you out! And with that I welcome the scarf! It’s easy on and easy off, which is pretty much exactly what I’m looking for when practically changing climates throughout the day. If I haven’t sold you on the practicality of a scarf, might I suggest you throw one on just to give your outfit a little something extra. It takes my jeans with a tee and makes it slightly less boring and a little more trendy without all the fuss.

I am loving, and I mean LOVING, the distressed boyfriend line of denim at the Gap right now. The jeans are so big and soft I could sleep in them. Here is the shorts version and they’re just as relaxed and comfortable. I actually gave my shorts one extra roll here because they were looking quite long on my 5’2″ frame. I’m sure I’ll bounce back and forth between both lengths depending on what I’m wearing up top but either way, I love the way these shorts look and feel. You should definitely give them a try!

This look is very much what you’ll see me in on a day of running around the house, play dates, errands, and anything else that warrants a comfortable and easy going outfit. Here’s a few more pictures below! Have a great day!
