Sweater (Generous fit, I’m wearing an XS. It’s also slightly longer in the back, which I love! ) | Striped Tee (Silky and lightweight) | Jeans (I’m wearing a size 26 – soft with a lot of stretch!)) | Mules, suede style available, run TTS
Also – my sweet Grace is off to the side and she is just sleeping away. All I can see is her two little feet peeking out of the rock and play… I love her.
Hey, everyone! Apologies for all the silence on my blog the past 2 weeks. As most of you already know, we recently moved from Las Vegas to Phoenix and things have been a tad crazy getting all packed up and then unpacked in our new home. It was dang near impossible to take photos and most of the time everything we owned was packed up and away – so I’ll be playing a little catch up here this week with photos from my room while we get ourselves situated.
So, what’s new?!
Ava’s about to start her new school this week (3 new schools in 5 months and she is still rocking every minute – PROUD!) and Grace is so big anymore I find myself wondering how on earth I can freeze time before it’s too late. She’s also proving to be a little bit more feisty that Ava ever was and if I would take a bet, I think this one is certainly going to keep us on our toes. She’s a total mommaa’s girl right now and she sure as heck knows where her bread is buttered. She melts into tears whenever I leave the room and I’m such a pushover for my girls I spend most of the day toting her around in the bjorn. My back hurts like heck but taking multiple trips up and down the stairs carrying this kiddo and emptying a bazillion boxes has got to be helping out in other ways, right?! So.Many.Squats.
Either way, these two just light up my entire world and while I would be lying if I didn’t tell you all these changes hasn’t been hard with 2 kids in the picture, I wouldn’t change it for anything. The smiles and laughter far outweigh anything rough that comes our way. I simply love them ridiculous amounts. Curt, too. 😉
But seriously, who is this baby who is sitting up all by herself?! #gmoney #sweetgraciegirl
I’ll spare you too many details but we made our way down here with nothing in mind as far as a house goes because we wanted to actually navigate our way around the city and physically see any and all possible homes before we actually signed on the dotted line. We had so man issues with our house in Las Vegas and it was a LONG 3 years under that roof. Things were always broken, the layout was weird, and I always felt like we didn’t have enough space. Curt and I knew that we didn’t want to jump into anything without making sure we knew we would love it for the next few years and I’m so glad we did it differently this time around.
Thankfully, after just a few days, we found the perfect house in a great location and I’m so excited to finally have things fall into place. I love, love, love our new home and after a few long days…it’s finally looking close to being complete. Ava and Grace both need new bedroom sets and we have a fun little loft to get together but other than that, we are so close to being settled.
I’m sharing two outfits today that I picked up and wore when we were on vacation in Pennsylvania over Christmas. The timing is actually kind of nice, too, since they’re both on promotion. Use go “BR40” for 40% off both sweaters!

Girl, you have to ditch that bejion! Both my babies wanted to be stuck to my body for about 8 months!! After Tessa was over 9lbs my back hurt so bad! ERGO all the way and it’s so much better for babies hip development. I know it’s not fashion related but I thought I could help a girl out

Welcome to AZ! I’m in Scottsdale, but also from the Northeast (NJ). Been here for 4 years now. I also just had a baby a month ago! Let me know if you’d like any restaurant or shopping recommendations in the area 🙂
