Can one really ever have enough “blue-based” button down shirts? Depends on who you’re asking, of course, but in my particular case I clearly had a little more room for this pretty blue gingham number right here. If I were to pitch to you my biggest reason for loving a plaid button down shirt it would be because they’re that one shirt hanging in your closet that you can literally wear all year long. I love, love wearing these all summer long with my shorts and cuffing up the sleeves. So casually cool and comfortable. You can’t go wrong.
When I’m not reaching for my favorite pair of jeans, I think these new moto/skinny pants are going to be a fun, easy and quick replacement. They’re my favorite army green (which goes with almost everything, btw…) and a great way to mix it up a bit when life calls for your laid back style.
Finally, I’m not too big of a print mixing girl but when I do feel like making opposites attract, I love pulling together leopard and plaid. I think it’s subtle yet just enough out of the box for me.
Have a great Thursday, everyone!

I mean… J.Crew is simple breaking my heart right now with all the beautiful shoes that I just want to scoop up into my arms and take home with me!!! I seriously cannot decide which ones are a “must have” and which ones I can do without… In other news, this isn’t a real problem, folks. But I do love me some shoes!
