The Perfect Striped Dress + A Peplum Beauty

Well, I can’t even deny the fact that I’m so excited to be starting my Monday by sharing this dress. Ladies – I know I love using the word “perfect” quite a bit when I’m sharing some of my favorite things with you. However, never have I felt so inclined to use such a strongly opinionated word when it comes to a piece of clothing, which is in this case, a dress. If you were to ever try something that I so strongly recommend, let it be this beautiful dress! I simply adore everything about it! It would be perfect for so many occasions this summer, you would be so happy you had this little beauty hanging in your closet at a moments notice. I promise, nautical stripes will never, ever be out of style.

So, here’s why I love her so…

This striped “flouncy dress” is probably one the most comfortable dresses I now own. It’s a ponte knit, my favorite, and it hugs and flares in all the right places. They even have the stripes down to a science with how they curve and turn throughout the dress, flattering your figure and allowing you to breathe at the same time. I bought a size “0” and even though I’m only 5’2”. I prefer a longer length and went with the regular, not petite. I mean…I seriously can’t get enough. AND, through my multiple wardrobe changes this weekend when I was getting all my outfits ready for this week, this was the one and only outfit that caught my husband’s eye and he openly shared “I really like this one…”. Haha, he’s such a good sport but he’s a true “man’s man” and rarely does he have any unprompted comments to offer on my stylish ways. Dresses or yoga pants, I do believe he loves me for who I am on the inside. #thankgod

So, there you have it. Two big thumbs up from both myself and the fighter pilot in my life…who could care less about how fashionable clothes are these days. (No worries, I still make sure his wardrobe matches his good looks.)
