Season after season, I always find myself looking for and loving jackets that completely pull my outfit together. Funny enough, I can still be quite picky about them, especially in fall and winter. I have this obsession with finding and wearing blazers that don’t look like they only belong with a matching pair of suit pants. It’s like, I want the jacket to dress it up a bit but not in a way that, for some reason, makes me think of ladies who wear tennis shoes with pencil skirts when they’re exercising during their lunch break. Weird, I know.
So, when I tried this particular jacket on the first thing I loved about it was the printed liner. Such a casual and unexpected touch. I also love the brown buttons which, to me, make less like a suit separate and more like a polished blazer that adds a finishing touch. I could easily wear this to work with flats or toss on some cute wedges for a casual date night with my husband. Oh, and tt would also be great for running errands and shopping during the day with some tall boots and a crossbody bag. Versatility, friends. Endless options.
When I was going through all the outfits I had planned for this coming week, I didn’t notice any big trends popping up like they usually do but this bag and these booties sure did make the cut…a lot. What can I say, I love what I love!
Have a great day, everyone!!!

Are you just loving buffalo check this year as much as I am?! I literally can’t get enough. I was immediately loving this check coat from J.Crew but I can’t bring myself to buy it knowing that I might not get as much wear out of it as I would prefer with a pricier coat. So, imagine how excited I was when I found this pretty similar version for about a third of the cost. Plus, the faux fur collar has my name all over it.
What do you all think? Splurge or Steal?!
