Blue Plaid + Cognac Clutch

Happy New Year, everyone! I hope your 2014 is already off to an amazing start!

Ava and I are safely back in Las Vegas after what always feels like the longest flight….ever. I mean, I’m sorry, but almost 6 hours on a plane is just entirely too long for me. I’m fairly certain that Curt needs to be stationed somewhere in the midwest to east coast for his next assignment. Meanwhile, he laughs in the face of such requests…as I rarely get what I want in this department.

Oh well, we were happy to have made the trip and now that I’m back on the west coast, it’s back to business and no one likes a routine more than this gal.

Anyway, who loves a popover and who loves plaid? That’d be me. I think what I love most about this shirt is I don’t have many blue shirts in my inventory so it was kind of meant to be, yes? I thought so, too… It kind of hits at that weird mid-length that doesn’t quite cover your backside and because I loved the idea of wearing it with leggings, I just threw on a tunic length cami and called it good. I was covered and it blended well with my pants. I actually do this quite often so try and keep a few basics in your drawer that are easy to toss under anything and everything!
