Denim Shirt Dress + Shopbop Sale

What is it about a pair of opaque tights that just lets us know that fall has finally arrived? This past week, when driving Ava to school in the morning, we blast the heat and chat about how much we love the cool weather! She is so her mother’s daughter… She is so hopeful for snow and I just don’t have the heart to tell her we probably won’t see much this winter here in Las Vegas. However, if Pennsylvania is good to us, we will hopefully see some when we’re home for the holidays!

I’m all over plaids this week so it was only appropriate to bring out my favorite Burberry scarf. It’s such a classic pattern and I really love it with just about everything. Curt bought this for me when we were living in England a few years ago and like most of my favorite investments, this was a good one. I still love and wear it just as much as the day he gave it to me.

This denim dress is pretty fantastic also. The wash is a little more on the dark than medium side and the long sleeves are just perfect for the weather lately. It’s also a slightly thicker denim which is great for keeping you warm right now! The best part is a denim dress like this is that it will transition really nicely throughout the winter and into the spring. I also think it would look adorable with a quilted vest and some tall boots. Stay tuned!
