Hey Everyone!
Well – as if we didn’t have enough changes happening in our world, we decided to add just a few more. Most of you know that Curt is currently flying with the Thunderbirds and we’ve been living in Las Vegas for the past few years where he is stationed. This coming winter, his time with the team will come to an end and we’ll be packing our bags and headed somewhere new! This is the life of the military and while we’re always up for change, it’s definitely going to be one of the more difficult assignments that we’ll have to say goodbye to because it has certainly be one of the best. We’ve made great friends, logged so many great experiences, and traveled all over the country. A lifetime of memories will always be there for us to look back on and for that and so many other reasons, we are forever grateful for another incredible assignment in Curt’s air force career.
So, where are we headed? We are still waiting to find out but in the meantime, the girls and I headed back to the only place we will always call home so that Ava can spend her first grade year at a school in my hometown with her best friend…who just so happens to be her cousin! We all love it here and over the coming weeks, we are going to be racking up those frequent flyer miles following Curt wherever he might be headed to catch as many shows as possible before we all pack up and head on out.

This past weekend in the northeast was absolutely beautiful! It was feeling like fall for 2-3 days and you know I am loving every.single.minute. Cool, crisp, 70* weather is just what this gal needs after close to 3 years living in the desert. Thank you, Mother Nature, for that preview of what is most certainly my favorite season.
With all that’s happened in the past 6 weeks, I’m sure you can see why it’s been so crazy getting anytime to take photos and blog. We DROVE, yes ma’am, drove across the country in 4 days with a loaded car back to the northeast and ever since we’ve been getting our lives set up here for the coming months. It’s been crazy but I thrive in the chaos and lose my mind when there’s nothing to do so for me, it’s been busy, but I prefer it!
We took a bazillion photos and I’ve been stock piling new things for fall all summer long and up until now! Grabbing things on sale in the summer that are perfect for fall is definitely where I do my best work – especially when I’m pregnant. It feels great to be home and we’re going to be even happier when our little family is all in the same place again but after weighing the pros/cons, ups/downs, pluses/minuses…we knew this was the best case for Ava. She’s an all-star military kiddo and no matter what we toss her way, she’s always ready to go. I love her so much.
While I spend today wrapping up some pictures and editing the rest – here are a few inspo ideas for the cooler weather that’s just around the corner.
Happy Fall!

I love this camel booties. Do they easily get dirty due to the light suede color?
