A Statement Necklace + Summer Gingham

I think a few of the best ways to give your favorite pieces to wear new life is by adding on a few of the “extras” and in this case, it would have to be the jewelry. I am so loving this bright cardigan this season and while I have zero problem wearing the heck out of it, adding new things to wear with and around it make it feel like new each time I grab it (which is…a lot).

These denim shorts and my dresses have been my pregnancy go-to’s over the past few weeks and even though the pretty color of this sweater stands well on it’s own, I think this fun little statement necklace was a great added touch. The blue pieces feel like leather and it’s overall a really easy piece of jewelry to add on that’s not too heavy or distracting. I love, love, the pretty coral and light blue stones throughout, too! I think today’s “extra” was just was this jean shorts and tank outfit needed, don’t you?
