A Cable Knit Vest + Vince Sweaters

I am seriously crushing on some thick cable knit sweaters this year and seeing how it’s only the start of October, this sweater vest is going to be a great stand-by until the weather is cool enough to completely bundle up. I absolutely adore this vest. I love the color, it’s just tick enough, and you can wrap it up around you or let it casually hang down on each side and either way it looks amazing. Booties are a must, still, and will be a staple in my wardrobe for months to come. We all know I don’t even put them away in the summer time!

I’ve been trying to break out my Chanel bag a little more often lately. I’m so used to saving it for special occasions but what good is that?! Now, I won’t be carrying it to the grocery store but at the same time, I won’t be keeping it under lock and key until fancy date nights roll around either.

This weekend we celebrated my sweet Ava’s 5th birthday and even writing that doesn’t make it feel real. I swear, only moments ago we welcomed that blessing into this world so how it’s been 5 years already, I never know. Time goes so quickly. I’m just thankful she’s just as loving and affectionate as she has always been and I’ll cherish it always.

When it comes to fall and winter I can’t help but so desperately want to wear a thick, soft, cable knit sweater. I’m from the northeast…it’s what we do! Every year, I wait until the end of season sales to try and scoop up the high priced items that caught my eye but were too expensive for my piggy bank. This year, I’m looking at you, Vince! These sweaters are so beautiful, I could cry. I need, like, NEED the Circle sweater. NEED. (Well, want, but you see where I’m going…) So, as the days, weeks, and months pass on by, I’ll keep staring down these beauties, willing them to go on sale!
