Aran Knit Sweater

Last week, I shared with you that I have a sweater from a few years ago that I still held onto and loved just as much as the day I bought it.  So, when I realized that J.Crew put out an almost identical sweater this season, I couldn’t wait to post about one of my all time favorites.

For so many reasons, I love a thick, ivory and cable knit sweater.  They’re just so toasty warm and, honestly, a bit nostalgic for me.  My mom used to bundle my sisters and I up in sweaters just like these when we were little girls and braving the cold northeast winters.  I have only good memories thinking back about wearing these timeless sweaters around the holidays with a tartan print jumper, ivory sweater tights, and a shiny pair of patent saddle shoes.

And, here we are, 20-some years later and I still have a love for the things I wore when I was little.  I guess somethings never change…
