Happy Friday, all!  Here’s to hoping everyone can sleep in tomorrow!  Ava is that typical kiddo that I have to wake up Monday through Friday and then on Saturday morning, she’s up before the sun.  What IS that phenomenon?!  Thankfully, she’s a pretty happy girl when even I do have to wake her but still, the ability to be so peppy, so early on the two days we all get to sleep in…I will never understand.

Like the green dress I shared earlier this week, this striped and swingy number is one that I know was going to be perfect for me now and again over the coming months.  I kind of wish I remembered to take the jacket off when we took these pictures, but it has sleeves that hit right around the elbow.  Sorry about that…  It’s a nice, soft cotton with a decent amount of stretch, too.  Not one to ever turn down the stripes, this little dress was a fun and easy (and affordable!) find.

Also like the utility vest I shared this week, I’m loving this jacket for all the transitional weather we’re going to be having between now and the official start of summer.  Again, as I sit here at my computer with a fleece jacket and a blanket over my legs, I am usually always cold.  I should mention when I grabbed Ava from school a little bit ago it was around 60 degrees outside, too.  I know  – I have problems.  I just love having a jacket to toss on whether for looks or comfort, it’s pretty much a necessity in my wardrobe.
