Black (Faux) Fur + Piperlime Promo

Faux Fur Vests (well, any faux fur, really…) can be tricky. I think it’s safe to say that while the “real deal” is a little unattainable or even intentionally avoided, we still want the look and feel of real fur. Thankfully, be able to imitate the real thing has come quite a long way! You can easily buy a great looking faux fur piece that is comfortable to wear and looks great for a fraction of the cost. Heck, even faux fur has quite the price range and while I probably haven’t found the perfect super-affordable one, I have been pretty happy with the few pieces I’ve brought home over the years.

Today’s vest is definitely one I’m really excited to have found. It’s got a great shape in that it’s fitted enough around my torso but not too tight or too wide. Of course, I love the layering look but I don’t want to look bigger than I actually am or have something around my arms that is too tight. I also really like the feel of this fun fur because it’s soft, not itchy, and the fur lays really nicely and all goes in the same direction. Sometimes that fur can look a little crazy and for me, that’s not quite the look I’m going for here.

As you guys also know, I really love my ivory box pleat skirt that I’ve worn a few times already over the past few weeks and I’m so excited to have found another one. I love the wide, classic pleats and the ticker fabric, especially for fall and winter. This skirt is going to be so perfect when it’s cold enough for me to wear tights.

Finally, let’s talk about these leopard booties! I waited oh-so-impatiently for them to go on promo and once they did, I picked them up in a hot minute. Whew, I’m actually proud of myself on that one because honestly, these are worth the full ticket.

Happy Monday, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend! Not to be a downer but I’m so glad Halloween is behind us. It’s probably my least favorite holiday and thankfully, Thanksgiving and Christmas are (obviously) my two favorites. It’s time to get festive!
