Clearly, I can’t get enough of these red shorts. Especially when I have the chance to pair them with a new ivory and black blouse that I just love! So, I know I’ve mentioned this before, but I’m a huge fan of layering in the summer. I know it sounds kind of crazy when the weather is hot as ever (Simmer down, Vegas!) and while I despise being hot, I also can’t stand being cold. So, instead of whining my way through the uncontrollable elements of the day, I come prepared. I always keep a cardigan or a jacket with me when I’m out because more often than not, whenever I go inside the AC is blasting like I’ve just entered the Arctic. Step back outside and, well, I’m back in the desert. My very minor problem in life, solved.
Before I share my pictures, I have to say that I’m loving this blouse that I picked up recently from J.Crew and aside from the really pretty and subtle print it has, this blouse has my favorite sleeves, ever! (Closer look at the end of the pictures…) I love a slightly puffy sleeve that isn’t too long/short and comes down to a fitted band around the arm. It’s insanely flattering and if all of my shirts could be made this way, I’d be one happy girl. So, sewing ladies, get to crafting me the perfect blouse! Pleeeeease?!
