As I move the last of my spring clothes through their final rotation, I try to keep in mind that in a few weeks we’ll be traveling to Pennsylvania and, hopefully, there is a mild summer on the horizon waiting for me! I love, love, LOVE these jeans. I swear I have more than just 1 pair hanging in my closet but the light, vintage wash of these jeans has completely won me over. They are a slim boyfriend fit give me the relaxed looking I’m going for without looking too sloppy.
Curt chuckled a little bit when he saw this camo jacket hanging in my closet because yet again, the military has inspired my wardrobe. But, honestly, how could it not?! Their uniform is in constantly in my line of sight. Whether I was looking for inspiration or not, it has found me. The truth is, camo is pretty huge this past year. It has all the neutral colors you’re looking for and still manages to be something new and pretty trendy. This Gap jacket fits so well and while it’s a little loose, that’s the intention. This isn’t the tailored jacket you would wear to work, it’s one you would toss over your causal Saturday attire for the day. I love it. They also have a few other colors to chose from in this cut and I’ve got my eye on the green version.
As for the booties, if you saw yesterday’s post, I’m still not ready to say goodbye! While Vegas is going to fit pretty much anything I put on my feet other than a flip flop, I’ll surely take these lovelies back to PA so that they still see the light of day throughout the summer. I know it’s summer but I just can’t seem to say good bye!
I know everyone is ready for the weekend so I’ll send you off with a few more pictures of this casual look. I hope you have a great weekend!
