And a happy Friday to you! Yes – I be lovin’ the weekend. Why? Well, because it’s a break from the “Groundhog Routine” that we call Monday through Friday and until Ms. Ava is out on summer break, we seriously love our relaxing weekends where the sky is the limit! Sleep in, lounge around, run around town…whatever your pleasure.
But, until then, one more day…
I’m playing a little catch up from a few weeks of posts that we have stored after I couldn’t get much out last week so if the bump looks a tad smaller here…well, it’s because it is a little bit smaller. If you follow along with me on Instagram, you may have seen that I had a quick routine check up yesterday and everything looks great! Baby is 29+ weeks along and she’s growing, kicking, and just being all around amazing. We love her so much already. You know, I’ve been so nervous about the age gap between Ava and her little sister but honestly, we are so fortunate that Ava is as special to us as she is and I know she’s going to be such a great help. Wise beyond her years, I think I’m starting to realize that everything happens for a reason and it’s been so awesome to have her be such a big part of this process and actually have a deeper understanding to what’s actually happening. We are blessed beyond measure.
In keeping with the end of the week feeling for most people, I kept things pretty casual today because, really, who doesn’t love some jeans and a tee? Sign. Me. Up.
Have a wonderful weekend, all! Thanks for visiting!

Hi Maureen! Can you share what size in the shirt you are wearing? We have very different body shapes, especially with your beautiful baby bump now, but I always seem to fit perfectly in the same size of the items you have posted. I have the shorts but never thought to pair them with a very similar blue, looks fabulous.
Thank you for your wonderful style! I look forward to your posts and have purchased many items you have suggested.

Hi! Wow, just found your blog and I’m so happy I did! I’m 2 weeks behind you with my first babe, and you’ve totally inspired me to branch out more with my maternity style! Can I ask…how are you wearing such cute non-maternity shorts!?! 🙂 Do you use a Bella Band or something? Keep rockin’ it, mama!
