Celebrating Fall in Shabby Apple

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, my friends. I simply adore each and every detail that comes together to make my favorite season of the year, fall. Cool and crisp air, boots, sweaters, scarves, hot chocolate…I’ll take one of each, please. In the fall, we all long to be comfortable, cozy, and warm. The beauty of fall style, I think, is that even though we’re all ready to bundle up and pile on the layers, there is still so much potential for making sure our “made for cool-weather” dresses get plenty of wear as well.

This beautiful grey dress from Shabby Apple was simply made with me and my taste in mind. This high quality, ponte knit dress is just so unbelievably comfortable and easy to wear. The cut compliments a woman’s figure so well in that it outlines all our curves, but never hugs too tight or in the wrong places. The length is perfect for day or night, dressed up, for work or in a casual setting. Oh – and for a little special extra touch, there’s also a belt to wrap around your waist and tie a bow. Details, friends. All about attention to details.

Shabby Apple designs and sells high quality vintage-inspired clothing that reminds us of how beautiful we, as women, are both on the inside and out. While it was difficult for me to chose one piece from their current collection, I think what I love most about this company is the story behind their 2006 -beginning and how their vision came to fruition.
