Craving Fall

I have a rule:  Stop buying summer clothes in JULY.  Why?  Because come the end of this month, I’m over it.  I’m usually over the heat, humidity, and…the heat.  This gal is all about the fall and winter.  So, while I’m going to try and stick the plan I’ve had for years, it’s going to be kind of tough given I live in Las Vegas.  The desert refuses to acknowledge cooler temperatures until almost November.  Not cool, literally.  I’m really excited to see the fall clothes start rolling out in a few weeks at all my favorite stores but I already know what my big buys this season are going to be.  I always, always gravitate towards neutral colors when the temperatures start to drop.  Of course, red, no matter what the season is always a favorite!

Here’s what I’ve been watching online and saving up for this year!

Is anyone else already thinking about cooler weather?  Sweaters, booties, and cashmere…oh, my!

 

Michele Watch: I have a Michele CSX watch that Curt gave me as an anniversary gift a few years ago and I love it.  I can’t stop thinking about this jelly strap watch, though!  Love the grey and rose gold combo.

Prada Saffiano: I’m in the market for a new fall bag and while I haven’t decided which one I want, this red Prada tote is a top contender.

Kate Spade Pearl Earrings: These need no explanation.  Timeless beauties.

Rag and Bone Booties: (or here, here, here) If you follow me on Instagram, you’ll remember my quick post about these booties.  Grey?  Brown?  Both?!?

J.Crew Tippi: I love, love, LOVE Tippi.  This camel color is fall perfection.

J.Crew Cashmere Scarf: I bought this scarf in pink the past winter and wore it all.the.time.  This light heather grey color can complete so many fall looks, it’s a must!

Kate Spade Bangle: Just a quick way to brighten up your look when the days are grey!

Tory Burch Reva: The red and gold combination on these flats are irresistible.

Prada Cat Eye Sunglasses:  I’m going to give these cat eye glasses another try, I think.  I ended up going with this pair for summer (which I love, by the way…) but also still really like solid plastic frames on this new pair.  Tortoise, of course.

Kate Spade Necklace:  Pearls and Bows? Yes and please.
