Crochet + Distressed

Last summer, even in the height of my pregnancy, I spent more time than I’d like to admit looking for a crochet top, cardigan, or kimono that I could toss on in the spring and summer.  A few pieces almost made the cut, but I never really found anything I really liked enough to hold onto seeing how layers are tricky enough as is it when it’s warm outside.

While this isn’t a real problem, I’m happy to report that I’m glad I held off because this year, I found one that I really, REALLY like a lot.

Slightly oversized and while I’m wearing it with a simple pair of denim shorts, don’t you think it would also work over a dress, too?  Easy little change up to what’s already hanging in your closet and great addition to my summer favorites.
