Denim on Denim

Screen Shot 2013-09-01 at 11.33.44 PMWell, “Never say Never” should have been the title of this post.  A few weeks ago, I do believe I professed that I would never wear denim on denim but clearly I’ve had a change of heart.  This perfect little chambray shirt completely changed my mind and I knew that if I were ever going to try out this Denim 2.0 trend, it was going to be with this shirt.

I’m never one to shy away from an opportunity to wear these fantastic heels and while they were part of J.Crew’s summer collection, I knew when I bought them that they would be all over my fall wardrobe.  I think with such a one dimensional palette of blues here, they really made the outfit a lot more fun.

Has anyone else tried out the denim on denim trend?  I’m kind of loving it now!

I hope everyone had a great week and you’re all ready to relax this weekend.  It’s pretty much all I want to do as sleep has become a faint memory to me lately.
