Embroidered and Distressed

I’m not sure what it is about embroidered tops and dresses this summer but I just can’t seem to get enough! I’m pretty sure I love the loose blouses for the obvious reasons that they’re non-constricting and do their best to keep me cool even when it’s 111* outside. (Not cool, Vegas.) The embroidering on this blouse is so pretty and I’m absolutely in love with the colors. I originally saw it pop up on Instragram at a small shop but, of course, it was all sold out. After a little investigating, I found this pretty little number at Nordstrom and promptly made it mine. In an effort to keep this look really casual, I paired my new top with what is surely becoming my go-to shorts this summer. These Gap BF shorts are so comfortable I could sleep in them! I gave mine an extra roll and they’re still long enough to cover me and be super cute and laid back. I love, love them.

My mom is here in Las Vegas visiting and she was able to take my picture this week with her super nice camera! I thought my SLR was great but this piece of equipment makes me feel like it’s time to update! Anyway, I hope you like the pictures below! Outfit details at the bottom, as always!
