Lace + Grey

Even though it’s hotter than heck outside, I’m already getting myself mentally prepared for fall. I know, don’t judge me. I live for a climate that feels like fall all.year.long. I also kind of stop buying any and all things summer related come August 1st and while that was a smart idea when I wasn’t living the desert life, I still keep to that promise and I begin recycling all of my favorites from summer and start saving my nickels for cooler days ahead.

Today I’m sharing what might have been my favorite trend this summer, lace! So delicate, feminine, and the perfect alternative from your basic denim shorts or even my other default, the boyfriend shorts – which I’ve managed to collect in just about every color of the rainbow.

I’ve shared this cute sweater before a few weeks ago and I while I’m a huge fan of merino, this sweater is particularly perfect for transitioning weather because it’s so lightweight and comfortable to wear. It’s great for layering and I know I’ll be tossing it under my puffers just as soon as the first signs of fall make their way into LV. We won’t talk about how that generally comes in November but instead, just think about how happy we’ll be when that day finally arrives.
