I’m fairly certain I could live in maxi skirts all summer long. Like most of my favorite pieces for summer, they’re so easy to wear, especially when you grab a black one. While I have a knit black maxi skirt, this one was is much more light weight with it’s flowy chiffon material. It’s not clingy, tight, and even has a pretty decent vent on the side to make walking around easy, breezy.
No apologies here but I live in this white Toggery tee and I assure you it will continue popping up again and again. It’s just soft, I love the cut – especially the sleeve length, which is actually pretty important to me when it comes to finding tees that I bring home.
In order to keep my black and white a little less on the plain side, I loved the idea of tossing in what is becoming my go-to jewelry this summer, pops of turquoise. It kind of brings the whole look to life and with one simple addition, this outfit becomes one of my favorites.
And, once again…it’s late here in the LV and I need some rest before my 12+ hour sleeping 5-year old stares me down and asks me (repeatedly…) what we’re doing today?! For the record, I’m shopping for school uniforms, signing her up for fall soccer, and getting her registered for dance class. My stars, this child has officially taken on a cooler and more event filled schedule than myself. Thankfully, I love watching her go, go, go so I’m pretty excited to get everything up and running! Before we know it, school is here and sleeping in and staying up late are long gone.
Have a great day, everyone!
