Embroidered Navy + A Market Tote

I can already tell you that when I bought this pretty little embroidered blouse a few weeks ago, I envisioned myself wearing it this summer with white jeans and oodles of gold accessories. I’m serious, I may go overboard this year with all things nautical when it’s officially summer up in this place. I can’t even help myself and, honestly, I’m not sure I even want to change my love for summer attire. June, July and August is about blues, whites, reds…and all other things Americana.

Last year, I bought this adorable straw tote and I have been itching to take it out of hibernation. While I’m a firm believer in not abiding by the “no white after Labor Day rule (silly!), I couldn’t bring myself to carry this super summery (borderline beach bag) out until it got a little more like spring and a little less like winter. PS: Vegas needs a quick refresher on what a “winter” entails. I think I just lived through the longest fall/spring of my life.

Anyway…

Here’s to loving all things navy and finding a cutie little blouse for a heck of a deal.
