Neon and Black

Those of you that have been following me on Instagram may already know that I’m slightly obsessed with neon.  And by “slightly”, I mean it’s time for an intervention.  I don’t discriminate either on color.  Pink, orange, green, yellow, they all work for me.  I’m wearing my neon as more of a night time look here but, honestly, I wear it during the day with jeans all the time.  Don’t fear the brightness!  It’s perfect for spring and even better for summer!

One of my favorite fashion bloggers, Julia, at Gal Meets Glam bought these adorable booties back in the fall and I could not resist.  They can be used all year long and were my go-to shoes with some black tights or skinny jeans when it was cold and I loved the way they looked with this black skirt.  I know booties with a skirt or a dress might throw some girls off but I think if you find the right pair, you could be swayed.

This outfit works so well for me because I’m a “no fuss” kind of girl and this bright shirt gives me just the punch I’m looking for when trying to pull something together.  I hope you like!
