Neutral Stripes and White

So, it’s been like 80-something degrees out here lately but the humidity makes it feel like I’m in a South American Rainforest so while I totally loved the look of this denim jacket with my outfit, I had it on for about a (very) hot minute before I peeled it off.  Eh, I guess it’s the idea that counts?!  So, if this look inspires you and a day in AC is in your future, feel free to toss that jacket on and stay warm!  If not, well, there’s more pictures down below without the jacket.  In other news, I’m so over summer and it’s only July.

Moving on…

I picked up this cute tank from J.Crew the other day when I was browsing their sale section and while they weren‘t on sale, they were coming home with me.  I’ve been looking for a tank like this all darn summer!  How on earth did they slip on by for so long?  I picked up a white one in an XS and a few bright colors in a S so I could layer away.  I feel like I’ve been kind of neglecting my white jeans a lot lately so I doubled up this week.  Man, do I love white jeans.  I feel like no matter what you’ve got going on up top, they always make the outfit come together so nicely.

If you’re anything like me, Thursday is looking so good because it’s a quick reminder that the weekend is just ahead!  Of course, I’m totally a teacher in summer mode and often forget what day it is…but all you workin’ folk out there must be getting excited, right?!  Don’t be too jealous as I’m headed back to work in just a few short weeks and those weekends are going to be my saving grace as well.
