Over the past few years, there are a few pieces of clothing in my closet that have consistently be worn all year long and never seem to let me down and one of my most coveted pieces, the dark skinny jean, is one thing I just can’t seem to live without! Their options for styling are practically endless and nine times out of ten, these are the jeans I reach for when I’m looking for a dressier pair of denim. So polished and figure flattering, they are guaranteed to dress up whatever look you’re going for that night. Classic and clean, you can also wear them during the day when you’re running errands around town with a comfortable pair of flats and one of your favorite boyfriend tees and yet again, you’re going to be casually styled without too much effort. For these and so many reasons, the dark rinse skinny jean will always be my favorite pair in the closet.
I recently shopped at one of my favorites, J.Crew Factory, and tested out their brand new line of denim that offers all of the top styles you’re looking for to balance your denim needs : Skinny, Flared, Boyfriend, Straight, High Rise, and Bootcut. As I work on making my way (slowly, but surely…) back to my pre-baby body, I really loved the way the dark skinny jeans made me look and feel. But, because the return of Flare jeans has me lusting something a little bit different, I definitely grabbed a pair of them, too! (Be sure not to miss out and even though they’re backorder, they’ll definitely be worth the wait!)
So, while it was so hard to chose one, I picked my tried and true skinny jeans whileI was there and they did not disappoint! I love that they’re a deep, dark rinse with the perfect amount of stretch that doesn’t get baggy throughout the day. Huge win. This particular pair also comes in multiple inseam lengths and being that I’m more on the petite side, I went with the shorter 28″ pair and they’re perfect. I know I’ll probably cuff them time and again to get a more cropped look, too! Versatile in so many ways, I’m really loving my newest pair of jeans!

So I’m an airline pilot and yesterday while enroute from LAX to ORD the air traffic controller was talking to a tanker pilot. The ATC guy asked if she had Thunderbirds one through six with her or one through seven, she said she had one through seven Thunderbirds/F-16’s. I kept scanning the sky hoping to get a glimpse, but to no avail. Anyway, it was somewhere over Kansas…..
I picked up my first pair of these during the Lanor Day sale. I can’t wait to try them out!
