Girls. This past week, I went back in time. I’ll make a long story short but when I was researching “drop waist dresses”, I came across some cute options at American Eagle and while I haven’t shopped there in a long time (I feel all kinds of old when I walk in there….like I should be shopping for my teenage daughter, but whatevs…), I figured it was worth a quick trip down to their store to see if I could try one this one out. While they didn’t have what I originally went in there for, they did have a few other cute things that I wanted to try on before I took Ava over to yet another splash pad to try and cool off for the rest of the day. Overall, I was pretty impressed! They have a very Anthro-inspired vibe going on in there for a fraction of the cost. Some of the skirts I tried on would have only worked about 10 years ago but mostly, I was happy that I walked out of a store catered to teens and early 20-somethings with something cute that fit! Win.
I like this romper for a couple reasons: the first one being the colors in the print and the second is the cost. Inexpensive and pretty cute! I really liked the way my cardi worked here and this outfit is something I would wear out for a casual date night with my one and only. Not too fancy but not something I would wear around the house. Just special enough, I think.
Here’s a few more pictures on how I pulled this look together. Let me know what you think!
