Last year, right around this time, I found a green plaid skirt that I loved so much and pretty much styled it this exact same way.  I can’t even deny that as soon as I saw this pretty red and navy print that I knew right away what I was going to do with it.  Just a few changes and additions here and there and it was all set.

We hopped out of town this past weekend for Thanksgiving and I didn’t really plan on working too much while I was away.  With Curt being gone for work most of last year, it was nice to skip on out and know that we were in for a relaxing weekend.

I hope you guys took advantage of all the sales and promotions that happened with Black Friday!  I barely looked at my phone for the past few days and if you saw my inbox – you might faint.  Sometimes it’s nice to just get away from it all, don’t you think?  Especially when everything promises to overwhelm.  I’m so glad I unplugged for a hot minute and guess what, it will be there in the morning.
