Polka Dot Print

I’m sorry this post is a tad late this morning! Ava and I traveled from Pennsylvania to Nevada yesterday and while Ava is a champion flyer, I am not. No worries, I keep my crazy to myself as to not push my fears onto my daughter…at least I think I do! She absolutely loves everything about that ride in the sky! It’s ironic for me, too, seeing as my husband is a pilot. Annnnyway, I managed to lose my iPad on the flight and while that little electronic device might be replaceable, the contents on there would be hard to recover. I’m thankful for the amazing crew at Southwest for their honest employees who found my beloved iPad on the floor and promptly turned it into their own lost and found. We will be reunited this morning and I’m so relieved! Thank you so much for all your kind words on Insta! Thank you, thank you!

Okay, back to business!

I am a huge fan of prints! If you’re a little hesitant to wear something that’s a bit busy, I suggest sticking with the basics: stripes and polka dots. We also all know I’m no stranger to the color combo of navy and green and while I might find myself back here time and time again, it’s only because they work so well together.

I bought this skirt in 3, yes, 3 colors when it first came out because I felt like it fit me perfectly. I’ve regretted decisions like this in the past but I’m happy to say that this time around, not only am I glad I stocked up but I wish they had them in more colors! I know when I head back to work in a few weeks that they are going to be in a high rotation when the days are hot and want to look professional and be comfortable at the same time.
