Pop of Pink + (Target) Insta Update

Turns out I be lovin’ some stripes this week. Three out of five posts are here to back me up on that claim, too! Ah well, this is nothing new. In fact, it was one of the top few key words I tossed around when I was trying to come up with a title for my blog back in the brainstorming days! That being said, I still love the name I did settle on and I think, even still, it’s the best way to describe who I am and where I come from…

So, stripes. Couple things to mention about this shirt today! First, it’s a thicker material and a tad more structured than you typical t-shirt. It kind of reminds of a shift dress in the overall shape in that it’s not super snug, but it’s not oversized either. The collar is more boatneck which allows from some fun when it comes to necklaces, too. I really like the overall look, cut, and possibilities for styling with this shirt because it’s one that you’ll always be happy you have to grab when you want to wear prints that day…but nothing too crazy.

I decided to wear one of my favorite pairs of shoes today because all of that navy really needed a little spice of life, right? Pink and navy are also one of my favorite color combinations and with the golden details from both my envelope clutch and hardware on the jacket – I really like how this somewhat “uncomplicated” outfit has a little bit of shine.
