This might be the best Friday I’ve had in a while, friends! Whew – apologies for the unwanted hiatus that I recently took due to some technological blips that left me time feeling slightly helpless when it came to maintaining control of this little blog I’ve created. In April 2013, I decided to take my little love for style and fashion and join the many girls before me who wanted to share their ideas in a blog. Ups, downs, hits, and misses – I’m so excited that I’m still here 2 years later with my own spot on the web.
A few months ago, I decided that I wanted to give my blog a little facelift to make it a little more personal to me but also to make it a little more user friendly. After teaming up with the most wonderful Beautiful Dawn Designs, Tiffany and I worked together over the past few months and she worked so hard to bring my vision to life. Even with this past month of issues that both she and I were handed, she was ever so patient from start to finish and I couldn’t be happier with the way things have turned out.
I hope you enjoy my new look and over the coming week, you’re going to see quite a few additions to the usual content that I’ve been sharing these past two years. I’m excited to open my life just a little bit more and hopefully offer a little more inspiration from other avenues. Stay tuned…
For those that have been following from the beginning, those I’ve met along the way, or even those that are new The Northeast Girl, thank you so much for visiting me each day. This little space simply wouldn’t be possible without you all.
To see all the fun things I’ve added to my home page, be sure to view my site in the web version and not mobile. I still have a few odds and ends that need to be cleaned up but I couldn’t wait a single minute once everything was finally up and running again.
I will also be posting throughout the weekend to try and play a little bit of catch up, too!
Joie : Dress | Stuart Weitzman : Wedge Sandals, try these, these, these | Tory Burch : Crossbody Bag
I had some serious luck lately with all the Friends and Family sales that just happened in the past few weeks! A few staple pieces that I’m really excited to have in my closet now are these beautiful wedge sandals that match just about everything and this classic ivory crossbag. I’m sure you’ll be seeing them quite a bit this spring and summer! This shift dress was so comfortable to wear over my bump and, honestly, what I loved most was the beautiful blue pattern. It reminds me of the English pottery we collected from Spode when we were living overseas.
And over on Insta…
Shorts | Cardigan (Loft – brand new, just not online yet!) | Tank | Sandals

Oh my goodness I’m so happy to see that you are back! You are one of my daily fashion blog reads, and are definitely my favorite, since I started following you a little over a year ago. So I must confess, I was alittle lost without my Northeast girl fix this week lol
I love the new look and am excited to see the new content you are going to share with us.
