Red Eyelet + D’Orsay Flat

Do you have a red dress is your closet right now? Yes? No? Doesn’t matter. This is the winning ticket, right here. Sometimes, I wonder if I were born 30 years too late because the idea of wearing a dress just like this, every.single.day, sounds like my kind of era. I really think I should be waltzing around town just like a 50’s housewife right now in pretty little dresses, draped in pearls. (…assuming I don’t have to cook and clean, of course.)

Where to even begin? First, this dress is so comfortable. It’s not too tight, but yet, it’s still so feminine. It comes to the knee and the eyelet detail makes my heart go pitter-patter. I couldn’t think of anything better than to wear ivory and gold, which are simply my favorite compliments to red.

I’m thinking this clutch is going to pair quite nicely with so many of my summer favorites this year. What on earth WON’T it match, I wonder? Highly recommend…

As I approach my 10th wedding anniversary this coming fall, I can’t help but think that this dress would be so gorgeously memorable for all those who plan on attending wedding festivities over the coming months. Tis the season, right?! Brides, bridesmaids…at those bridal showers? This dress will turn.some.heads. #promise
