Sailor Stripes + A Summer Shoe Sale

 

Are you noticing a trend here?  Tanks and Shorts, Tanks and Skirts…repeat and repeat.  Clearly I’m a little in love with these tanks, too, seeing how I have them in every color of the rainbow (and every color in between…).

What’s more appropriate in the summer than a nod to sailor stripes?  Not a whole lot!  These shorts are so fun and the button details down the sides are pretty much the whole reason I allowed myself to bring home yet another pair of striped shorts.

I’m still adjusting to all the traveling Ava and I have done this summer and while we’re not quite done yet, this week has been the first one where we don’t have on overly saturated schedule of activities on places to go and people to see.  Whew.  I think at this rate, I’ll rest again when Ava heads back to school this fall.
