Spring Ready!

Happy Spring, friends! Well, happy spring to most of the country. While some are still trying to thaw out…some of us are on the brink of summer weather, believe it or not. It’s a few days into the month of April and here in Las Vegas, the desert, it’s starting to feel like the beginning of June in the northeast. It’s in the low 80’s and there’s abundant sunshine everyday. Which reminds me, are we liking the new tortoise sunglasses I’m going to buy? My awesome sister gave me a gift card to Nordstrom for my birthday a month ago and honestly, I should be given some type of a reward for taking this long to spend it. New sunglasses need to be in my life, like, yesterday. This sunshine is no joke! This kind of weather is actually kind of nice here right now because there’s absolutely no humidity in the air and it’s still cool at night. Not too shabby, if you ask me. Now, when I write about the weather in a few short weeks, don’t expect my mood to be quite the same. I personally don’t like 100*+ days and I’m sure it’s going to get old really quick. So, for now, I’ll enjoy it while I can and most likely flee the state for a month or so in the middle of summer, ya know, to keep myself sane.

With these warmer temps, I’ve been taking some serious advantage of all the sales that my favorite stores have been having online for their new spring and summer lines. I can’t remember the last time I paid for something without a promo code and if you’re smart, you won’t either. Most stores will have flash sales, weekend promo codes, or offers that last long enough for you to get your closet straight and see what you need. Don’t pay full price! If I can wait for a promo code, so can you. I’ll do my best to keep you up to speed on any good offers that come up and, of course, what I’ll try and snap up when the deals are hot.

Now, I hate to be all motherly to my readers but I have to say, when looking for all those new summer buys make sure you swing by your favorite beauty counter and pick up the following:

Make-up with an SPF
Sunless Tanner, if you so desire a bronzed glow
More SPF
