Summer Cotton

As the heat continues, so does my easy wardrobe.  This past week the heat in northeast was intense so when I was searching for outfits to wear, I had to stick with cotton.  I just feel like when you can’t do much to turn down the heat, the best thing to do is wear things that are as comfortable as possible.  What’s the most comfortable fabric?  Cotton.  I debated wearing a jacket here but it was even too hot for pictures.  Just keepin’ it real, girls.

This is a really fun and casual outfit I might wear on a day date with my husband or even for a nice lunch with my girlfriends.  I’m loving black and brown together…as you can see from this post I did just last week at The Shopping Mama!  I can’t remember a time I ever said “no” to stripes or ruffles so this tank was a real win for me.  It will be great in fall, too, with a cardigan or a jacket over the top.
