A few weeks ago, I came across an opportunity to share the goodness that is a wholesome, American born and built company that offered nothing but the best when it came to quality apparel. I honestly couldn’t respond “yes” fast enough and here we are, a few weeks later, sharing pieces from Toggery’s new spring line, ’14. I don’t even know where to start when it comes to describing the, without a doubt, most quality basics that I’ve ever laid my hands on. And, as we all know, this girl is quite particular.

The first thing that came to mind when I opened the package was how incredible the clothes felt (ultra soft and silky to the touch) and oddly enough, how wonderful they smelled. Bare with me here, but there’s something about high quality, carefully crafted clothes that comes with a smell only the finest fabrics could bring. Everything smelled so new, so fresh, and just worth all the effort behind the production of each piece.

For those that have followed along with me for some time now already know that I love basics more than anything in my closet because I look at them like a blank slate. You can literally build each piece into multiple different outfits for just as many different occasions. Basics allow you to be an individual, be creative, and really let your own taste and style shine through when you get dressed each day.

When I started to think of ways to style this jersey dress, I had to stop and re-think about it over and over again because I knew of a great way to wear it casually but then again, I could do something completely different and dress it up?! When pieces like this become so versatile that I can’t make up my mind, I know I need to stop and stock up on multiple colors. Oh, and believe me when I tell you that if you wanted to sleep in it, you could do that, too. The fabric here rivals even my most comfortable pajamas.

After spending time going through all the wonderful things that were sent to me, I came to the conclusion that Toggery is a brand that will stand the test of time. While I believe this for many reasons, I think what I love most about this company is that it’s built by using only the finest fabrics and crafted with today’s modern women in mind. We need variety, versatility, and most of all, comfort. I feel confident in saying that everything in this line of clothing is designed to last and that, to me, is worth every penny.

Today I’m sharing a black jersey t-shirt dress and while it’s also destined to be worn with my favorite sandals and cross body bag, I wanted to share it just a little more on the dressy side to show a look that might not immediately come to mind when thinking of ways it can be styled. This dress moves so nicely – not clingy or tight. It’s lightweight, but not sheer, and while it has a loose fitting design it still manages to keep my shape, which I love. You won’t be lost in this dress and instead, have everyone you know wondering how they can get their hands on one as well. I love the length of both the hem and sleeves, and just the overall fit is amazing. I simply can’t recommend this dress, or company, enough.
