Hey, Monday!  Curt, Ava and I had a pretty busy weekend and while I love spending time with my family and friends, it’s always nice to jump into a week of routine and calmer days of catching of up on life.

I know I just mentioned this recently but over the past few weeks, I did a major denim overhaul in my closet and pretty much purged everything and replaced what never got worn with a few updated pairs that just fit better and were actually going to get used.  I really like the pair I’m wearing today (Citizens of Humanity) for a few reasons but I’m pretty sure the length is one of the reasons I tried this pair in the first place.  I get a little bit tired of rolling (or altering…) every single pair jeans I that buy so the fact that this ankle length was, in fact, stopping at my ankle was a huge win.

I’m still seriously crushing these booties and while I’m keeping my eyes peeled for a great sale to share with you, their definitely worth the price because over their overall comfort!  The  leather is super soft and even after a days wear, my feet aren’t calling out for a break.  I do recommend sizing up if you’re in-between sizes or if you feet are more wide than narrow.

I wore this outfit last night on a quick date with my husband before we week kicked off and because it rained steady all day…and night, I jumped on a chance to wear these Hunter’s before the sun started shining again tomorrow.  Love that glossy red!
