Weekend Report

I hope your holiday weekend was a great one!  Ava and I spent time with our family and relaxed the days away.  We were thankful to spend a holiday with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, but we missed Curt a lot!  I love spending time at home with family in the summer but it’s always a little bittersweet when we leave Curt behind for work.  Thankfully, he understands and we’ve become quite accustomed to this lifestyle.  It’s how we make it work for our family and as Ava grows older, we won’t be able to just up and leave for long periods of time so we really just take advantage of it right now.  So, it was a great weekend and with the start to a new week, I have a few fun finds to share with you!

Over the weekend, I tried on a few things and also came across some pretties online that I couldn’t keep to myself!  Here’s what I found!

Chambray Dress: I love the darker wash for this chambray dress and with the three quarter length sleeve, it will transition into fall perfectly.

Prada Sunglasses: Tried these on again this weekend and I’ll pick them up next month.  They will be part of my new fall wardrobe and I can’t wait!

Red Lace Top: I tried this on at Madewell and ended up walking out with a different top, but I can’t get this one off my mind…  I’ll give it another day to see if I need it!

Cargo Pants: I’m really weird about cargo pants in that I don’t like it when pockets don’t lie down flat.  Am I alone?  I still want to find a pair that I love and I really like the looser cut here.

White Jacket: Did you catch my post this past Friday at The Shopping Mama?  I am in LOVE with this jacket.

Cashmere Sweater: I’ve talked about cashmere before on the blog and this sweater is TO DIE FOR.  Oh my stars, need! The color and cut are perfection.  I love it with the leather shorts here too.

Stacked rings: I hopped into C. Wonder this weekend and it took everything I had not to buy all their jewelry.  It’s so well made and affordable for the quality you’re getting. Did you know the founder of this company is Tory Burch’s husband?  This is quickly becoming one of my favorite stores, ever.

Peep Toe Bootie: I adore this shoe.  The color, the open toe, and especially the buckle around the ankle.
