A few weeks ago, I picked up these wide leg, printed pants with the intention of wearing them on the beach last week but I honestly never got around to having them hemmed before we left. Story of my life, right?! Being 5’2″, they were impossible to toss on with sandals so I just left them at home.
Now that I’m back, and they’re still not hemmed, I decided to take a page out of Gal Meets Glam’s playbook (because this particular post is what gave me the courage to buy these pants in the first place…) and make them ready for wear off of the beach. I also love the way she paired her blue pants with a fitted tank because with so much material on the bottom and me being fairly petite, I also didn’t want to be too wide from head to toe.
They almost remind me of a maxi dress seeing how the legs are so wide but they’re a little bit easier to wear. Of course, I’m still going to have them hemmed a tiny bit but I really liked stepping outside of my comfort zone for today’s post.
