Winter Layers + J.Crew Wish List

While most of the country got blasted with some snow this past weekend (jealous!), down here in the southwest we also had our own little arctic air mass rolling on through and let me tell you, it was chilly! Would I have preferred to see a little white snowflake or two, but of course, but beggars can’t be choosers. Either way, it finally feels like winter out here and I seriously love it.

I’m such a fan of layering pretty much all year long but given my current geographical location, summer leaves me little opportunities to do this…so I’m here to make up for lost time! And, what better time to start piling on loose sweaters and blouses than after Thanksgiving (where I may or may not have eaten a whole pumpkin pie by myself…)!

I’ve also just recently restocked my sweater tights which, in my opinion, are just a tad warmer than opaque and perfect for keeping warm when you’ve decided nothing will get in the way between you and your favorite skirt…no matter what the thermostat says that day!

Well, friends, Monday has found us again and while another long work week lies ahead, I always chose to be thankful for yet another day. Curt, Ava and I are also officially counting down until the start of Christmas break…which can only mean one thing! It’s going to take twice as long to get here!
