A Shift + Chambray

I keep seeing these oversized chambray pockets popping up all over the place and I have to say, I kind of love them. They don’t necessarily serve any functional purpose but as far as making a simple shift dress a little more exciting, they have surely fulfilled their fashion destiny.

I absolutely love dresses in the spring and summer because to be honest, it’s an “instant” outfit. No matching of tops and bottoms required and that’s a pretty easy way to start your day, if you ask me. Plus, who doesn’t love wearing something that’s less constricting and more likely going to keep you cool? I know I’m convinced.

Finally, nude wedges should be in every girl’s closet. Why? They give you legs for DAYS. You look taller, thinner, and more streamlined all the way to the ground. Trust me, you will wonder why you didn’t have this little wardrobe staple a long time ago. I’m obsessing over this cork pair and the little shiny, gold flecks that catch the sun. Major win.
